Inter have sent scouts to Denmark to take a closer look at Aalborg goalkeeper Theo Sander, as they consider making a move for him this month.

According to L’Interista.it, representatives from the Nerazzurri were in attendance during Aalborg’s friendly match against fellow Danish club Viborg FF on Thursday, tasked with taking a closer look at Sander.

The 18-year-old has been likened to Paris Saint-Germain and former AC Milan star Gianluigi Donnarumma and is reported to have generated interest from across Europe, whilst it is suggested that he could be ready to choose his next club this winter.

It would require a fee of €2.5 million to prise him away from Aalborg, and Inter have been tracking him with a view to bringing him in as a long-term replacement for Andre Onana and Samir Handanovic.

Sander has previously been on trial with Juventus, and in August became the youngest goalkeeper ever to feature in the Danish Superliga, at just 17 years and eight months.
