Over the past six years and counting since Steven Zhang took over as Inter President, the balance in the Milan derby has shifted decisively towards the Nerazzurri.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who note that since the current President took over in 2016, the Nerazzurri have won ten out of the last nineteen derby clashes, compared to just four for the Rossoneri.

Over the past six seasons, Inter have won a total of four trophies, compared to just two for their city rivals Milan.

Meanwhile, in direct clashes between the two, the trend has been clear and decisive in favour of Inter since Zhang came in as club President, as the Gazzetta notes.

Inter have won the majority of the derby matches during that period, whilst in total the Nerazzurri have collected 39 more points than their city rivals in the league during the period.
