Inter are among the top Italian clubs to have taken a keen interest in signing Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 20-year-old is on the Nerazzurri’s radar as a possible replacement if Romelu Lukaku does not stay at the club.

Hojlund only arrived at Atalanta during last summer’s transfer window from Sturm Graz, but the Dane has certainly been leaving his mark with his performances in Serie A, particularly since the return from the winter break.

This has led to the possibility that the 20-year-old could already be set for a big money move away from Bergamo as early as next summer transfer window.

According to the Gazzetta, La Dea’s priority is to keep hold of Hojlund for at least another season.

However, the newspaper reports, Serie A’s biggest clubs are already keen on the Dane, particularly in the event that any of them lose their main centre-forwards.

In the case of Inter, the question of Lukaku’s future remains up in the air given that they have not yet made a decision on whether or not to extend the Belgian’s loan from Chelsea.

If the Nerazzurri do not keep the Belgian beyond the end of the season, the Gazzetta reports that Hojlund would be a target to take his place, whilst Juventus and Napoli are monitoring the Dane as a possible replacement for Dusan Vlahovic and Victor Osimhen respectively.
