Inter forward Joaquin Correa will have his fitness assessed in the next few days to see when he is able to return to the pitch from his thigh injury.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the Argentine will be assessed by the Nerazzurri medical staff in the next week or so to see how far along he is on his recovery process, although he will certainly miss the next couple days.

Correa has missed both of Inter’s last two matches, against AC Milan and Sampdoria in Serie A.

The 28-year-old former Lazio, Sevilla, and Sampdoria player is also set to be out of this weekend’s Serie A clash with Udinese as well as with the Champions League round of sixteen first leg against Porto on Wednesday.

However, it is not yet certain how much longer it will be until Correa is able to return to the pitch, and he will be assessed within the next few days.
