Bologna striker Marko Arnautovic will miss out on this weekend’s Serie A clash with Inter through a hip injury.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 33-year-old Austrian international will be out for around two weeks recovering from a hip strain, leaving the Rossoblu without their top scorer when they host Inter.
Former Nerazzurri, Stoke City, and West Ham United striker Arnautovic had returned from an injury, and the Austrian was expected to be available for next Sunday’s Serie A match against his former side.
However, the 33-year-old picked up a further strain to his hip during the Emilian’s Serie A win over Sampdoria on Saturday.
Accordingly, he will miss out on next Sunday’s match against the Nerazzurri at the very least.
Meanwhile, in better news for Bologna coach Thiago Motta, both of defenders Kevin Bonifazi and Stefan Posch should be available to face the Nerazzurri.
