Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana believes that there’s no limit to how far the Nerazzurri go in this season’s edition of the Champions League, though it won’t be easy.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, the Cameroonian gave the view that the team must stay as united as possible if they’re to get the best out of the opportunity before them in Europe’s top club competition.

Inter finally get their Champions League knockout campaign underway after months of waiting this evening.

The Nerazzurri earned their place in the round of sixteen by getting out of a group containing the likes of Bayern Munich and Barcelona, and now they face a tough Porto side.

The Portuguese team have proven just how formidable they can be by knocking out the likes of Juventus, AC Milan, and Roma from the competition, but Inter will believe that they can reach the next round and then do something special.

“I think we can beat anyone, we’ve shown that,” Onana said

“Inter can go as far as possible in the Champions League,” he continued.

The 26-year-old stated that “We know it will be difficult but it’s what we train for every day.”

“The team will respond to the challenge in the best way possible, and if we remain united we can do anything.”

Onana added that “The team and I are ready for anything.”

“We’re a strong team, and ready to play against any opponent,” he continued.

“We don’t worry about the opposition, we’re just focused on what we have to do.”
