Torino Sporting Director Davide Vagnati feels that the future of Inter-owned wingback Valentino Lazaro is something that the Granata will consider over the next few months.

Speaking in a press conference, as reported by FCInterNews, the Torino executive stressed that at this stage he is not sure what the club’s strategy will be with players current on loan, but that it will be considered as the season goes on.

Inter wingback Lazaro has been at Torino on loan since the start of the current season.

The Austrian has joined a number of clubs since making the move to Inter from Hertha Berlin in the summer of 2019.

The likes of Newcastle United, Benfica, and Borussia Monchengladbach have all declined to sign Lazaro on a permanent basis, although Torino had looked potentially on course to, although a long-term knee injury may have changed that.

For his part, however, Granata Sporting Director Vagnati feels that it is still too early to say.

“It’s still premature to talk about the futures of the players on loan,” he said.

“We’ll wait until the end of the season, and then talk and think about it.”
