Inter’s relationship with AC Milan is continuing to deteriorate, with the Nerazzurri sending a letter to their city rivals to outline their new stadium plans but receiving no communication in return.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, the two clubs are not on the same wavelength over plans to move away from the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Milan appear ready to abandon Inter and go ahead with solo plans to build their own new ground, but this has not been expressed to the Nerazzurri, formally or informally, and Inter are struggling to open channels of communication.

Inter had drafted a letter to be sent to the city council in response to the latest round of bureaucratic hurdles by the local governance, and sent it to the Rossoneri for their amendments and agreement on the text.

However, the Biscione are yet to hear back from Milan and it is leading to increasing frustration, whilst the city council have also not been directly informed of the Rossoneri’s desire to go solo.

It is reported that even if Milan do decide to move ahead without Inter, the Nerazzurri will not remain in the current San Siro and will aim to secure their own project instead.
