Inter defender Milan Skriniar is set to miss out on tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash with Lecce, whilst wingback Federico Dimarco’s status for the match is still a doubt.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that Skriniar will definitely be absent whereas Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi is still hoping to call up Dimarco.

Both Skriniar and Dimarco have been working in training over the week to try and get back to fitness in time for tomorrow’s match, with both having missed out on last Sunday’s away trip to Bologna.

In the case of the Slovakian defender, he has still not fully recovered from his injured, whilst in the case of the Italian wingback, there is still some hope that he could play a part.

In any case, the Gazzetta notes, the absolute priority is to have both Skriniar and Dimarco at their best in time for the team’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg match against Porto later this month.
