Young Inter wingback Mattia Zanotti is seen as a part of future plans at Inter, and could even have a role to play in the relatively near future.
This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 20-year-old is highly regarded by Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi, and that there is absolutely no intention of allowing the player to leave any time soon.
Zanotti stayed at Inter to continue playing with the Primavera team during the summer transfer window, and the Nerazzurri also turned down offers from AZ Alkmaar to loan in the young wingback during the January window.
There is no thought given to the possibility of cashing in on Zanotti as had been done with midfielder Cesare Casadei who was sold to Chelsea during last summer window.
Instead, the 20-year-old is seen as having a role in the team for the future, and could even be used more and more over the next couple seasons, considering the uncertain future of Denzel Dumfries and the advancing age of Matteo Darmian.
