Wingback Federico Dimarco is set to be called up for Inter in Friday evening’s Serie A match against Spezia, but no risks will be taken with the fitness of defender Milan Skriniar and forward Joaquin Correa.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the availability of the latter pair will be assessed over the next couple of days.

Given that Dimarco made his return to training today where he completed a partial session, all signs are pointing towards the 25-year-old being part of the Nerazzurri’s squad when they travel to Liguria to face Spezia later this weekend.

In the case of Skriniar and Correa, both are still out of training.

In neither case can a return as early as Friday’s match be ruled out, but the priority is to not rush them back if there is any risk of a relapse.

In both cases, the target could instead to return against Porto in the Champions League next week.
