Inter and Barcelona have been in discussions regarding possible transfers of midfielders Marcelo Brozovic and Franck Kessie, defender Samuel Umtiti, and wingback Jordi Alba.

This according to Spanish news outlet Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that Kessie is the main target for the Nerazzurri and could still be involved in a swap deal with Brozovic, but that the other two names also came up in talks between the club in Porto.

According to Sport, Barcelona President Joan Laporta and Sporting Director Mateu Almany travelled to Portugal early this week, where they met with Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio who were in Porto for the Nerazzurri’s Champions League match.

The Spanish outlet report that during the talks between the two clubs, Kessie’s name was discussed.

The 26-year-olf former AC Milan and Atalanta midfielder continues to be a major target for Inter.

Whilst Kessie has found a little more playing time in recent weeks due to injuries in the Blaugranas’ midfield, the sense remains that the Ivorian could leave the Camp Nou in the summer.

There have been persistent rumours that a swap deal involving Brozovic, who is a target for Barcelona, has been discussed, and Sport report that this was indeed a major topic of discussion in the meeting between the two clubs earlier this week.

Additionally, the Spanish outlet report, the names of Alba and Umtiti also came up during the talks, as possible summer transfer targets for Inter.
