Inter and AC Milan are among the teams interested in rivalling La Liga giants Barcelona to try and sign Athletico Paranaense striker Vitor Roque during the summer.

This according to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, via FCInterNews, who report that the Blaugranas lead the way in the race for the 18-year-old’s signature, but that both the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri as well as Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain are also thinking of a move.

Roque has emerged on the scene with his outstanding form at club level in recent form, whilst the teenager earned his first call-up for the Brazilian national team in a friendly match against Morocco during the international break.

Barcelona have been widely linked with the young Brazilian, and according to MD they are in pole position for his signature.

However, this could be contingent on making a move work within the Catalan club’s financial restraints, specifically the La Liga rules around spending.

Should the Blaugranas be able to get a deal worked out on the basis of an initial loan deal containing a purchase obligation, then they should be able to sign the €40 million-valued Paranaense striker.

However, on the other hand should Barcelona miss out, then there would be no shortage of clubs waiting in the wings to try and sign Roque.

According to MD, both of city rivals Inter and AC Milan have Roque on their radar as a possible attacking option for the future.

Meanwhile, Premier League duo Chelsea and Arsenal would both be keen to bring the 18-year-old to London, and PSG are also tracking the player.

Roque mad a total of thirty appearances for Paranaense during the 2022 season, scoring five goals in the process.

This time around, the 18-year-old has made four appearances so far in the campaign, and he has scored three goals.
