Chelsea could offer defender Trevoh Chalobah or striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as part of a deal to sign Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana during the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition, via FCInterNews, who report that the duo’s names are among those which could come up during talks between the two clubs during the summer.

Onana has most certainly come onto Chelsea’s radar, although he would not be easy to sign from Inter given that the 26-year-old has already proven to be of vital importance to the Nerazzurri.

Whilst the Blues could make a massive cash offer, their situation with Financial Fair Play may make that a difficult ask, and so they could be looking towards other strategies.

There is little doubt that Inter and Chelsea will already be set for talks during the summer one way or the other, regarding the future of striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Gazzetta suggests that should the Blues really be keen on signing Onana, then the goalkeeper’s name could come up during these talks.

However, given that it is far from certain that Inter will really want to bring back Lukaku for another season, the Londoners could have to look at other possible options.

According to the Gazzetta, there are two main possibilities who the Blues could look to offer Inter in order to entice them on a deal for Onana.

One is striker Aubameyang, who has been linked as a possible signing in attack for the Nerazzurri should they decline to bring back Lukaku for another season.

The 33-year-old former Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, and Barcelona man is out of favour and could be offered as part of a deal for Onana.

Meanwhile, defender Chalobah has been persistently linked with the Nerazzurri.

The Englishman has been targeted by Inter to replace Milan Skriniar, both in the January transfer window and last summer.

Considering Skriniar will leave at the end of this season, Inter will be looking for a like-for-like replacement and could be ready to bring in Chalobah as part of a deal for Onana.
