Legendary former Inter, Roma, Real Madrid, and Sampdoria forward Antonio Cassamno has no doubts that Simone Inzaghi must be sacked as Nerazzurri coach, preferably sooner rather than later.

Speaking on his Instgaram account, via FCInterNews, the former forward blasted the coach, calling his work at the Nerazzurri a “disaster” in an emotional outburst, suggesting that now it is only a matter of time before he is let go.

Cassano has never held back in expressing his opinions, particularly regarding Inter, and he has been particularly critical of the job that Inzaghi has done as coach, taking aim at the former Lazio boss on multiple occasions.

Perhaps not surprisingly, Cassano has hardly changed his tune regarding the job that Inzaghi has been doing following Saturday evening’s loss to Fiorentina in Serie A, the Nerazzurri’s third consecutive loss in the league and their tenth in total for the season.

From the former forward’s perspective, this is nothing less than a “disaster,” and he did not hold back in his criticisms of the coach.

Speaking about the weekend’s Serie A action, Cassano said that “I saw two teams play absolutely sh*t matches, both Inter and Juve.”

Speaking about Inzaghi’s work, the former forward trailed off, saying “It’s a disaster, disaster, disaster, a total disaster.”

“It’s true that Inter didn’t deserve to lose given the chances that they created, but in terms of looking like a team who actually had a plan, Fiorentina looked like the more organized team from start to finish,” he continued.

“I’ve been saying it for a long time now,” Cassano said of Inzaghi, “if the team are to take the next step, this coach has to be sacked.”

“I don’t know when it will happen, right now we’re all waiting to see what happens in the Champions League, but right now he’s not a coach with a long life in Milan,” he added.
