Juventus, Inter, and AC Milan are all tracking West Ham United striker Gianluca Scamacca in view of a potential summer transfer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 24-year-old is on the radar of the trio of Serie A giants who’d like to bring him back to Italy just one season after he left Sassuolo.

Whilst Scamacca joined West Ham with big expectations and a sizable transfer fee, things have not quite gone according to plan.

Whilst the striker had marked himself out as a major target for a number of clubs particularly in Serie A with his performances for Sassuolo last season as his signing was seen as something of a coup for West Ham, he has been unable to replicate his Neroverdi form in London.

This could well mean that the Hammers would be willing to countenance a sale of Scamacca, but it would certainly not mean that the interest in Scamacca’s signature would be diminished from teams in Serie A.

According to the Gazzetta, Scamacca would be one of Juventus’s main targets to replace Dusan Vlahovic in the event that the Serbian former Fiorentina man were to be sold during the summer.

Vlahovic’s future looks very uncertain in Turin amid what’s been a very mixed campaign for him on an individual level, and the Bianconeri do not want to be caught unawares in the event that he leaves.

Accordingly, Juventus are strategizing for a possible Vlahovic replacement, and according to the Gazzetta Scamacca tops their list.

Meanwhile, both of Inter and Milan have been linked with Scamacca in the past, and according to the Gazzetta their interest in the striker remains.

Both of the two Milan clubs are likely to go into the summer looking for attacking reinforcements, and Scamacca is certainly a consideration in both cases.
