Inter Milan could earn up to €110 million if they were to clinch the Champions League trophy at the end of the campaign.

Gazzetta.it via FcInterNews revealed the lucrative figures that the Nerazzurri have already collected by reaching the semi-final of Europe’s elite club competition while explaining how much they would pocket if they manage to progress beyond this stage.

Ahead of the grand semi-final clash between the two Derby della Madonnina rivals, the source reveals that Milan and Inter have each earned around 85 million from prize money by reaching the Final Four, although the Rossoneri have collected slightly more than their crosstown rivals.

Nevertheless, reaching the final in Istanbul is worth another 15.5 million in prize money, while lifting the trophy bears another 8.3M, which would raise the tally to circa 110M.

This season, Simone Inzaghi’s men had their highs and lows on the domestic level, but their European campaign has been exceptional thus far, and they’re set to be handsomely rewarded for their continental exploits.

After eliminating Portuguese duo Porto and Benfica in the knockout stage, Inter booked two meetings against their arch-rivals Milan in the semi-final.

The first leg will be on May 10, with the Rossoneri acting as the hosts, while the decisive second leg will take place on May 16.
