Ex-Inter Milan Star Backs Nerazzurri In Champions League Semifinal Milan Derby Vs AC Milan

Former Nerazzurri player Ezequiel Schelotto is confident that Inter can beat city rivals AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League Semi Finals.

This according to an interview the former Cesena player made with Italian broadcaster Sport Italia, as reported by FCInter1908.it.

The former Inter player has no doubts that the Nerazzurri can overcome their local rivals AC Milan in the rematch of the 2003 UEFA Champions League Semi Final.

“You asked me about who would make the Final, but I don’t have to say anything because it will be Inter,” said Schelotto.

The Italo-Argentinean player still has strong feelings about the Nerazzurri were he spent a portion of his career in Italy.

“It is [at Inter] where I passed many important and beautiful moments,” concluded the former Inter player

Schelotto spent two years with Inter, where he collected twelve appearances and one goal with the club. He scored his only goal for the Nerazzurri against the aforementioned local rivals AC Milan in a 1-1 draw in February 2013.

The player also had spells with Sassuolo, Parma and Chievo. He also spent time in England with Brighton and in Portugal with Sporting FC before moving back to Argentina with Racing Club.
