Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola believes the Champions League semifinal clash between Inter Milan and AC Milan will be a memorable one.

Zola stated this whilst on air as a pundit for Italian broadcaster DAZN as reported via Milan based Inter Milan news-site FcInterNews.

The former Chelsea and Parma forward expressed his delight and excitement ahead of the two-legged affair arguing that the matches will be memorable for all the right reasons.

Zola, who also played for Napoli during his illustrious career added that there are a lot of interesting talking points as both team are in good form.

It will be a beautiful match, between two teams in good shape. There are many points of interest, and we are all waiting for it” Zola stated.

‘Shame’ If AC Milan’s Rafael Leao Out

The former Italy star expressed his sympathy with AC Milan winger Rafael Leao should he miss the the first leg due to injury adding he didn’t quite know if the Rossoneri star would be able to make the first leg.

“It’s a shame for Leao, I don’t know if he will be there,” Zola concluded.

AC Milan host Inter Milan in the first leg of the Semifinal of the Champions League tomorrow night, Wednesday the 10th of May, with kick-off scheduled at 21.00 CET.

The return leg is played less than a week later on the 16th of May with Inter as the home team, with kick-off scheduled for 21.00 CET.
