Former Inter Milan defender Daniele Adani believes that cross-town rivals AC Milan will reach the final of this season’s Champions League.

Adani argued this point speaking in a recent episode of ‘Bobo TV’ on Twitch, as reported via Milan based Inter Milan news-site FcInterNews.

The former Fiorentina and Lazio defender believes this despite arguing that Inter go into the double header in great form, with arguably having had the best month of the entire season.

Adani added that one key for the great spell has been that the attackers are firing on all cylinders again as well as the defence not conceding as much as it did in previous points this season.

“Inter arrives at the derby in the best possible moment, the attackers are all doing well, and they are not conceding goals. If I think about  only this season, it’s the best 20 days under Simone Inzaghi.

“And I agree that Roma’s limitations were exposed.

“I say Milan [will go through], I cannot ignore what I have seen in the last three years, the Scudetto and elimination of Napoli. I am guided not only by feelings but also by history”Adani began.

Inter Milan More Patient Than Man City

Daniele Adani also detailed how interesting it was to see Inter build up patiently from the back against Roma, especially for the opening goal, despite not having players who are good at dribbling.

“We say that Inter don’t dribble, but they are the team that passes the ball better and are in a better position to receive it too.

“Given that they know this is their strength, they are not afraid to go back and start over from the back. Inter kept the ball for 3 minutes, which not even Man City do, they started over from the back eight times [against Roma].

“They are 93rd for rankings of completed dribbling, but are third in Europe for the number of shots taken. If you shoot without dribbling, it means you pass the ball well.

“It’s the only explanation why Inter create seemingly out of nothing. Spinazzola’s mistake shouldn’t happen because that is how Inter play.

“If you give them a path way to pass the ball, they will do it. Then they are strong, they keep the ball, they are patient, and they lower the tempo.
