Inter Milan trio Alessandro Fontanarosa, Francesco Pio Esposito and Mattia Zanotti will play for Italy at the Under-20 World Cup.

This according to the squad list released for the tournament as reported via Milan based Inter Milan news-site FCInter1908.

According to the report defender Alessandro Fontanarosa, wingback Mattia Zanotti, and forward Francesco Pio Esposito are all in the squad.

The Inter Milan academy has produced a number of highly promising talents these last few years. These have included players in every area of the pitch, from goal to defense to attack.

Wingback Federico Dimarco is currently a regular in the Nerazzurri’s senior starting eleven, having come through the Nerazzurri academy.

Moreover, the likes of Fontanarosa, Zanotti, and Esposito have all been impressing for Inter’s Primavera side this season. Subsequently, they now reap the benefits of that reward by an U-20 Italy call-up.

Ex-Inter Milan midfielder Cesare Casadei, currently at Chelsea, is also in the squad.

The 20-year-old was considered one of the jewels of Inter’s youth academy setup. Therefore, Casadei ended up being signed by Chelsea after an impressive season with the Primavera.

However, Casadei had not yet made an appearance for the Nerazzurri’s senior team at the time. The former Inter midfielder is currently on loan at Championship club Reading from the Blues.
