Romelu Lukaku is expected to start for Inter Milan against Napoli on Sunday as Simone Inzaghi prepares six lineup changes.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter coach Inzaghi is ready to rotate his team significantly once again. Major turnover has been the coach’s policy throughout the last few weeks.

Inter have been fighting on three fronts. This has meant that the matches have come every few days, nonstop since the start of April.

Accordingly, Inzaghi has rarely passed up a chance to freshen up his team. The coach has tended to make at least a handful of changes between matches.

Against Sassuolo last weekend, Inzaghi made eight changes compared to the team that started the Champions League semifinal first leg against AC Milan.

The coach won’t quite overhaul the team that much compared to the second leg against the Rossoneri. However, he still has quite a few changes in mind.

Lukaku Set To Start For Inter Milan Vs Napoli

One of the most prominent changes to Inter’s starting eleven will be in attack. Lukaku will lead the line after having been benched against Milan.

The Belgian had come on as a substitute against the Rossoneri, setting up Lautaro Martinez’s winning goal.

Lukaku has been in outstanding form for Inter in Serie A. The 30-year-old has five goals and three assists in his last five starts for the Nerazzurri in the league.

Joaquin Correa will start alongside Lukaku in attack, with both Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko making way.

Meanwhile, Marcelo Brozovic will take his place in midfield.

All of Robin Gosens, Stefan de Vrij, and Danilo D’Ambrosio are also anticipated to start this Sunday’s match.

The Corriere’s complete predicted starting eleven for the match is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Onana; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Acerbi; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Gosens; Lukaku, Correa.
