Inter Milan forward Joaquin Correa feels that the Nerazzurri must keep their outstanding form going in the same direction.

Speaking to InterTV ahead of this evening’s Serie A match against Napoli, via FCInterNews, the 28-year-old Argentine international stressed how the team have to continue on as they have been doing during their recent winning run.

Inter’s bad run of form in April now looks a distant memory.

The Nerazzurri have regained their spot in the top four of the Serie A table. They have also reached the finals of the Coppa Italia and the Champions League.

However, as of yet, nothing is done.

Inter still need to finish the job of securing a spot in the Serie A top four.

Moreover, finals against Fiorentina and Manchester City will be massive tests of this Inter team.

If the Nerazzurri can keep going the way they’ve been doing in recent weeks, they could be in for a memorable end to the campaign. However, slowing down at all could mean that all their good work will be in vain.

Inter Forward Joaquin Correa Wants The Team To Keep Going

Forward Joaquin Correa gave his thoughts on what Inter need to do now.

“It’s hugely important that we keep going like this,” the Argentine said.

“We’ve been in the middle of a brilliant period in form recently, and we’ve taken a lot of points,” he continued. “We have to keep going like this and approach the two finals with real quality.”

Of this evening’s clash with Napoli, Correa said that “It’ll be very difficult.”

“They play a very attractive brand of football, they’re a strong team and they’ve shown it all season.”

“They’ve been the best team in the league, but we van hurt them. We’re a strong team too and we want to prove it.”

Asked if there’s a risk that the celebrations from both teams could lead to a loss of concentration, Correa replied that “We’re focused on the match.”

“We’re still a few points away from reaching what we want to achieve for the end of the season,” he added.

“We’re completely focused, and we’ll try to do our best.”
