This is confirmed by an official announcement of the officiating crew for the entire round of fixtures made by the Italian FA, via FCInterNews.
47-year-old referee Orsato has been refereeing matches at the Serie A level since the the 2006-07 season. He made his debut in the top flight in a clash between Siena and Atalanta.
Orsato has also been in charge of lower league matches since all the way back in the 2002-03 season.
The 47-year-old also has extensive experience in European matches. Orsato has taken charge of matches in the Champions League since the 2012-13 campaign.
Most prominently, Orsato officiated the Champions league final between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich in 2020.
The 47-year-old also referees in international football. Orsato was one of the VAR officials for the 2018 World Cup final between France and Croatia.
This season, Irrati has been the main referee for two Inter matches. He took charge of both the Nerazzurri’s away loss to Bologna in February, and a 6-0 win over Hellas Verona earlier this month.
Orsato To Take Charge Of Fiorentina Vs Inter Milan Clash – Fabbri In The VAR Booth
Assisting Orsato in his duties will be Alessandro Giallatini and Alessio Berti. Meanwhile, the role of fourth official will be filled by Andrea Colmbo.
In the VAR room, Michael Fabbri will oversee the match to ensure that any errors made by the on-pitch crew are corrected. He will be assisted in his duties by Rosario Abisso.
The Nerazzurri will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch as they aim to clinch qualification for next season’s Champions League.
Inter currently sit third in the table, two points ahead of AC Milan and five ahead of Atalanta.
A draw would be enough to make mathematically certain that fifth-placed La Dea cannot catch them.
