Former Nerazzurri defender Fabio Galante feels that the current Inter Milan team don’t have any major weaknesses.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Radio FirenzeViola, via FCInter1908, the former defender heralded this Nerazzurri side’s quality, noting that the one potential weak point could concern the midfield in the absence of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

This season, Inter have had something of an up-and-down campaign.

However, in the past few weeks, the Nerazzurri have seemingly struck the right balance.

Apart from a defeat away to Napoli with a heavily rotated team, Inter have won ten out of their past eleven matches.

This has been a testament to a real balance between attack and defense.

Moreover, there is a sense that Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi has known exactly how to utilize his squad. All over the pitch, Inter have players who fit into the coach’s tactical scheme and formation, and this has allowed the Nerazzurri to play a very coherent style of play regardless of opponent.

Obviously this Inter team will be severely tested when they face off against Manchester City in the Champions League final next month.

However, along the way they have already beat numerous high-level teams.

The likes of Lazio, AC Milan, and Benfica number among those who Inter have dispatched recently.

From the point of view of former Nerazzurri defender Galante, this Inter team has few weaknesses to speak of.

Fabio Galante: Inter Milan Virtually A Team Without Weaknesses

“In my opinion, the Nerazzurri have no weaknesses,” Galante argued.

“I’ve watched them a lot, including live,” he noted. “Which is why I say that for me Inter have no weaknesses.”

“Perhaps without Mkhitaryan, the midfield loses a bit,” Galante suggested.

Of the rotation in attack, he observed that “There are a lot of matches to manage, and in attack Inzaghi has managed to get the best with the decisions he’s made.”

“I know Lukaku,” Galante continued. “I know how much he cares about Inter. I’m happy for him, and he’s a great player. If Lukaku plays, I’m happy.”
