Inter Milan are set to play a heavily-rotated starting eleven in this Saturday’s Serie A match against Torino.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the likes of Kristjan Asllanil, Raoul Bellanova, Samir Handanovic, and Stefan de Vrij among others could be given a starting spot against the Granata.

Inter are now less than two weeks away from the Champions League final against Manchester City.

This, naturally, means that the Nerazzurri have one eye on the final in Istanbul already. That is all the more the case after Inter secured a top four spot by beating Atalanta on Saturday.

As such, one of Inter’s priorities will be making sure that the key members of the starting eleven are in good condition for Istanbul.

This will mean avoiding injuries. Additionally, coach Simone Inzaghi will want to make sure that some of his key stars have plenty of rest.

Inzaghi To Heavily Rotate Inter Milan Lineup Vs Torino

Obviously, Inzaghi will not want to take many risks with injury in Inter’s final league match of the season.

Whilst the match away in Turin is hardly a dead rubber, winning it is not the absolute priority.

As such, the Inter coach will be ready to make wholesale changes to the team. Throughout the packed fixture list of the last few weeks, Inzaghi has never been shy to rotate the team. He is not likely to stop now.

This will mean that youngsters like Raoul Bellanova and Kristjan Asllani are likely to be given a start.

At the other end of the spectrum, Inzaghi will put his trust in some of the veterans in his squad against Torino.

This will mean players like defender Stefan de Vrij and goalkeeper and captain Samir Handanovic start.
