As Inter Milan gear up for what could be one of the biggest games in their entire history, we’re looking into some of the most famous people who will be paying close attention to how they get on.
You may not have realized that some of these celebrities were fans.
Most of the fans on this list are pretty easy to verify but some have been included even though they are only reported to be fans – Gisele Bündchen is one such example.
There have been rumors in the Metropolitan Post that she made money backing Inter Milan on sports betting online due to being a fan.
We don’t know if the Bündchen story is true, of course, though it has been reported online at Goal.com and a site called The Spoiler, but we do know that there are some huge names who love Inter!
Andrea Bocelli
Bocelli is one of the most famous classical singers in the world. Having been born visually impaired, he lost his sight in an accident while playing football.
Bocelli is known to be a fan of Inter Milan and still follows them. We can verify this one, as he has even said in an interview with FIFA that he still remembers the lineup from when he started watching:
“When I first became a keen Inter supporter, the team was very strong and won everything. It was a fantastic squad that I can remember in detail, like all self-respecting Inter fans: Sarti, Burgnich, Facchetti, Bedin, Guarneri, Picchi, Jair, Mazzola, Domenghini, Suarez, Corso!”
Bocelli has won numerous awards and is something of a national treasure in Italy, and even more so among the fans of Inter Milan. He will surely be following along when they take on Man City in the Champions League Final.
Valentino Rossi
Rossi is another star who has not been shy about his affections for Inter Milan. One of the most prolific winners of world championships in motorcycle racing, Rossi is known all over the world, and he is known to visit San Siro to watch his beloved team. Perhaps he’ll even be at the final.
Though Rossi is quite a private person, he often posts about the club on Twitter and was famously annoyed about the club selling Thiago Motta back in 2012.
When Rossi retired, Inter Milan even paid tribute to his amazing career on social media.
Adriana Lima
The Brazilian Lima is known to be a football fan and has been appointed as a FIFA ambassador. The model and actor has had a glittering career. As well as making a fortune out of modeling (once estimated at over $7m per year), she has appeared in Hollywood films and hit TV shows.
Lima is known to be a supporter of Inter Milan and was even in a commercial with members of the squad.
We don’t know if Lima’s role as an ambassador for FIFA means much but we do know that she is a big fan of the sport – like so many Brazilians – and that she holds a soft spot for Internazionale.
Alyssa Milano
This is one that may come as a surprise for some people but Milano has not been shy in telling people about her love of the club, posting pictures on Instagram of herself at the ground, wearing the shirt and generally professing her love for Inter.
There are rumors that she was a fan due to Zlatan, who she was a big admirer of. She attended a match at the Rose Bowl in a pre-season tournament where Chelsea took on Inter, and seems to have been hooked since.
The US actress is a huge name and has won numerous awards. She was in Who’s the Boss, is a talented singer and is currently filming for new movies due to release in the next few years.
She is one of the many Inter supporters that can be verified, especially due to the numerous snaps of her in the shirt.
Summary
There may be other Inter Milan fans out there who are also super celebs. There are rumors that Katy Perry shows an interest and even that a lot of players who are playing for other teams in Europe and within Italy are also Inter Milan fans.
They’ll all be hoping that Inter can add to their trophy cabinet and achieve European success when they take on Manchester City for the most prestigious prize in the whole of club football.
