Inter Milan are keen to loan both Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku and defender Kalidou Koulibaly for next season.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported live on air yesterday evening via FCInter1908 that the Nerazzurri will not only try to bring back Lukaku, but will also ask to loan Koulibaly from the Blues on similar terms.

Inter and Chelsea will meet very soon.

The main topic of the meeting will be to discuss the future of Romelu Lukaku.

The 30-year-old Belgian international will initially return to Chelsea, as Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta already confirmed. Then it will be up to the two clubs to try and agree another loan deal.

According to Di Marzio, Inter very much want to bring back the Belgian and will aim to negotiate another loan deal.

Not Just Lukaku – Inter Milan Also Want Chelsea Defender Koulibaly

According to Di Marzio, there will be far more up for discussion in the upcoming meeting between Inter and Chelsea than Lukaku’s future.

From Inter’s side, there is interest in Blues defender Trevoh Chalobah and midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek. And, from Chelsea, there is strong interest in goalkeeper Andre Onana.

Moreover, Inter are very keen on signing ex-Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly this summer, according to Di Marzio. He reports that the Nerazzurri will ask for the 31-year-old Senegalese international on loan.

Inter are aiming to make defensive reinforcements in the summer.

Replacing Milan Skriniar is a priority, given that the Slovakian will leave to join Paris Saint-Germain.

In this sense, Koulibaly would represent a lot of experience and proven quality in the Italian top flight, in spite of his underwhelming stint at Stamford Bridge.

Moreover, the futures of all of Stefan de Vrij, Francesco Acerbi, and Danilo D’Ambrosio are also up in the air.

According to Di Marzio, Inter will ask Chelsea for Koulibaly on a loan deal with similar terms to Lukaku.
