Following a positive meeting with the player’s agents, Inter Milan now reportedly have an agreement in principle to sign Yann Bisseck.

As we reported earlier today, the Nerazzurri scheduled a summit with the representatives of the Germany U21 starlet.

According to Sky Sport via FcInterNews, the meeting proved to be successful, with the two parties managing to lay the foundations for a full agreement.

The source believes that the parties will meet again in the next few days to define the details of the potential transfer.

The 22-year-old currently plies his trade in Denmark after signing for Aarhus GF last summer. The report adds that his contract with the Scandinavian club includes a release clause of 7 million euros.

The young defender started his career at Koln’s youth academy. He played for host of European clubs before landing in Denmark last summer.

Nonetheless, Yann Bisseck still managed to attract interest despite playing in relatively unsung league, with Inter Milan and other clubs keeping tabs on his development.

Aside from his defensive capabilities, the young centre-back managed to find success in front of goal. In his 35 appearances across all competitions this season, he contributed with five goals and three assists.

The Nerazzurri are looking to bolster their defensive department following the departure of Milan Skriniar who will join Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Inter.
