Romelu Lukaku is growing annoyed that Chelsea are stalling in talks with Inter Milan to try and agree a new loan deal for next season.

This according to UK newspaper The Telegraph, via FCInterNews, who report that the Belgian is frustrated with the Blues for not cooperating to swiftly agree a loan deal with the Nerazzurri.

At the moment, Lukaku’s future is in the balance.

Right now, the 30-year-old is only an Inter player for a couple more weeks. Then, at the end of this month, his one-season loan deal will officially expire.

At that point, Lukaku will go back to Chelsea.

For his part, the player has always made his desire clear. Lukaku wants to stay at Inter, and he wants the two clubs to work out an agreement as soon as possible.

Romelu Lukaku Wants Chelsea To Speed Up Loan Talks With Inter Milan

Currently, Chelsea and Inter are in a number of active negotiations.

These include talks over Blues defender Kalidou Koulibaly and Nerazzurri goalkeepeer Andre Onana.

Lukaku’s future has been a central point in the talks between the clubs. Nerazzurri Sporting Director Piero Ausilio has asked Chelsea to bring back the Belgian on loan for another season.

Despite the fact that Lukaku has suffered from a couple major injuries that curtailed his form for a lot of the season just gone, his blistering form during the final couple months of the season left Inter with no doubt. They want to bring him back.

However, Chelsea are in no hurry to agree another loan deal.

The Blues could aim instead to sell Lukaku permanently for a fee.

Chelsea don’t want to immediately agree another loan deal on terms that they don’t consider favourable.

However, for his part, the player wants the Premier League club to move the timeline forward. Last summer, Lukaku pushed Chelsea to agree a loan deal with Inter, and he wants to do the same again.
