Inter Milan defender Francesco Acerbi had quite the 2022-23 season.
The 35-year-old arrived on loan from Lazio on deadline day of last summer transfer window. Pretty much since then, the experienced Italian international has been a rock at the back for the Nerazzurri.
Acerbi has more than proven his doubters wrong with his performances over the campaign.
Inter Milan hailed Francesco Acerbi for a season full of perfect defending in a post on their official Twitter account.
They captioned it, “This man knows what textbook defending is.”
