Inter Milan are preparing to offer Chelsea a loan deal containing a €30 million purchase option for striker Romelu Lukaku.

This according to UK news outlet the Telegraph, who report that the Blues would be ready to consider such an offer as long as it contained a mandatory purchase obligation at the end of the season.

Inter have been doing everything they can to try and bring Lukaku back for next season.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has made clear that he considers securing the Belgian for next season a priority.

The Nerazzurri have been offering Chelsea another loan deal. However, so far the Blues have flatly rejected any possibility of a second loan move in as many seasons for the Belgian.

The Londoners’ stance is clear. They want to sell Lukaku once and for all this summer.

For Inter, a permanent purchase of the striker would not be financially feasible.

However, they could have a way to convince Chelsea without having to make a big cash outlay this summer.

Inter To Offer Chelsea Loan + Purchase Obligation For Romelu Lukaku

According to the Telegraph, Inter’s new plan is to offer a loan deal that contains a purchase obligation.

That way, the Nerazzurri do not have to stump up a big cash fee right away. Doing so would be a massive expenditure for Inter this summer.

However, the inclusion of a purchase obligation would assure Chelsea of cashing in on Lukaku eventually.

According to the Telegraph, Inter are optimistic that this would be enough to seal a deal for the striker.

As far as Chelsea’s stance, the Premier League giants will insist on the mandatory obligation. However, if they can get that, they will open up to the idea of another loan.

Now, the clubs will have to discuss the fee. The Telegraph report that Inter’s intention is to offer a €30 million fee.

The UK outlet reports that Chelsea coach Mauricio Pochettino wants to wrap up a sale of Lukaku fast, as he doesn’t want to take the player to the Blues’ preseason tour of the US next month if he’s not in the plans for next campaign.

Inter and Lukaku would both also like to wrap things up quickly for their parts.
