Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has turned down a move to Al-Nassr for now, as he’s waiting for a Barcelona offer.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported on air via FCInter1908 that for now the Croat is waiting to see whether or not the Blaugranas come in with a bid before he makes a decision on his future.

Brozovic’s future now looks to be a question between Al-Nassr and Barcelona.

The Croat already has the Saudi Pro League club’s offer on the table. They have also already reportedly agreed a deal with Inter, for a €23 million fee.

However, Brozovic is not yet ready to commit his future to a move away from European football.

He still feels the temptation of a transfer to Barcelona. The Blaugranas have made their interest clear.

The La Liga champions have made signing a replacement for club legend Sergio Busquets a priority for this summer transfer window.

Having seemingly missed out on Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich and Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimenti, the Blaugranas have been ready to turn to Brozovic.

Moreover, Barcelona coach Xavi has reportedly called Brozovic to try and convince him personally.

Accordingly, Brozovic is still waiting to see whether or not Barcelona will make an offer to Inter.

According to Di Marzio, the Blaugranas aren’t likely to offer more than €17 million.

However, they could have the will of the player on their side. Brozovic is still seriously considering choosing the Blaugranas over Al-Nassr, in which case any move to the latter would be off.

Brozovic has made clear to Al-Nassr that he won’t be accepting their offer yet. His demand of wages of €30 million net per season left little doubt.

Now, the Croat is waiting to see whether Barcelona will come in to change the lay of the land.
