Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic still hasn’t green lit a move to Al-Nassr as he is still considering the interest of Barcelona.

This according to Spanish news outlet Relevo, via FCInterNews, who report that the 30-year-old is continuing to wait to make his decision despite the Saudi Pro League club attempting to make the decisive push to convince him today.

Brozovic’s future now looks to be a question between Al-Nassr and Barcelona.

The Croat already has the Saudi Pro League club’s offer on the table. They have also already reportedly agreed a deal with Inter, for a €23 million fee.

However, Brozovic is not yet ready to commit his future to a move away from European football.

The 30-year-old has asked for a whopping €30 million net per season to make a deal happen with Al-Nassr. Even the €20 million net per season on the table has not yet convinced him.

Marcelo Brozovic Still Not Accepting Al-Nassr Move

Today, representatives of Al-Nassr spoke to Brozovic personally.

They attempted to finally convince him to accept their offer. However, as of yet, the player’s stance has not changed at all.

Brozovic has not decisively turned down the Saudi team’s offer. However, at the same time he has not given the go-ahead for the move.

A big part of the reason why is the interest of Barcelona. Brozovic is well aware that the Blaugranas are still targeting him.

Barcelona coach Xavi has even spoken to Brozovic personally to try and convince him to choose a switch to the Camp Nou.

From the perspective of the player, he doesn’t want to turn down the La Liga champions just yet. So Brozovic continues to delay a decision.

Only a few months ago Brozovic being sold would’ve seemed unthinkable. However, the midfielder’s situation at Inter has changed.

The Croat has missed long spells with injuries in the season just gone. Whilst he was out, Hakan Calhanoglu has emerged as a starting-quality option in his position.

Moreover, a rift has reportedly formed between Brozovic and Inter. Management of the midfielder’s injuries are reportedly central to the reason for this.

Now Inter are ready to sell the Croat. However, the player himself will have to decide on a new club to join if this is to happen.
