Inter Milan have accepted an offer of €18 million from Al-Nassr for midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported live on air via FCInter1908 that the Nerazzurri have accepted the new bid from the Saudi Pro League club meaning that all systems are go for the player to make the move.

The past week or so has seen an unpredictable, whirlwind negotiation between Inter and Al-Nassr Brozovic.

First, it had seemed that the Saudi Pro League had sealed a transfer for the 30-year-old. They shook hands with the Nerazzurri on a fee of €23 million.

However, then Brozovic decided not to immediately accept Al-Nassr’s deal. The Croat decided to ask for a whopping €30 million per season in wages to make the deal happen.

The interest of Barcelona continued to tempt the Croatian international. He wanted to wait, whilst Inter and Al-Nassr pushed to make a deal happen.

Then, Brozovic relented – he gave the all-clear for the move to happen.

However, with the player’s all-important green light secured, Al-Nassr then slashed their offer for him to Inter. The Nerazzurri were reportedly furious at this new offer of €13 million and slammed the door.

Inter Milan Accept Al-Nassr Bid – Marcelo Brozovic To Make The Move Soon

After that latest dramatic chapter in the transfer soap opera, however, things calmed down today.

Inter and Al-Nassr returned to negotiations today. The two clubs aimed to find a new agreement, and according to Di Marzio, they have done so.

The Saudi side made Inter an offer of €18 million.

The Nerazzurri have decided to accept that new bid.

Now, Di Marzio reports, Inter are ready to go after Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi. They will invest the fee received from Al-Nassr to cover part of the fee for the 23-year-old Italy star.

And Brozovic will depart Inter after eight and a half years at the club.

The Croat joined the Nerazzurri from Dinamo Zagreb in the January transfer window of the 2014-15 season. He has made 330 appearances for the club in all competitions, the last being the Champions League final.
