Inter Milan are in talks with Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb to send striker Martin Satriano on loan with a purchase option for next season.
This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Croatian side want to wrap up a deal for the Uruguayan before their Champions League qualifying matches start up.
22-year-old Uruguayan international Satriano spent the season just gone on loan with Empoli in Serie A.
The Nerazzurri-owned striker did not exactly set the world alight during his time with the Tuscans. A return of two goals over the course of the entire season was certainly below expectations.
At the same time, Satriano was still a regular in the team for the whole season, both from the start and from the bench.
Now, Inter will have a decision to make about the young Uruguayan’s future.
On the one hand, there are a few teams in Serie A who have shown interest in Satriano. The newly-promoted sides are particularly keen, with Frosinone and Cagliari reportedly hoping to sign the 22-year-old on loan.
On the other hand, however, Satriano could also go abroad for next season.
Inter & Dinam0 Zagreb In Talks For Martin Satriano Loan
According to the Gazzetta, Croatian champions Dinamo are interested in signing Satriano.
The Croats want to sign the 22-year-old on loan. The deal could also contain an option for them to sign the striker on a permanent basis at the end of his loan.
The Gazzetta report that Inter and Dinamo are currently in talks to hash out terms on a deal.
Moreover, the newspaper report that the Croats want to wrap up the deal for Satriano within the next few weeks.
Dinamo will face a qualifying round for the Champions League this month. They don’t yet know their opponent for their first match, which will be in the second qualifying round. However, they know that their first match will be on July 25.
Dinamo want to wrap up their transfer business before then. Accordingly, they want to agree a deal for Satriano within the next three or so weeks.
