Inter Milan have made clear that there is a deadline for Man United to sign Andre Onana after rejecting the Red Devils’ first offer.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reported live on air via FCInterNews that the Nerazzurri will not listen to offers after July 20.

According to Pedulla, United have made their initial offer for Onana. The Premier League giants have put €40 million plus €5 million in add-ons on the table.

This is not enough.

The Nerazzurri are starting from an asking price of €60 million for the Cameroonian. They won’t be offering any cut-price fees to United.

Accordingly, things will depend on whether the Red Devils significantly increase their offer.

The first bid hasn’t come close to convincing the Nerazzurri, and they’ll wait and see if United make a much-improved bid.

July 20 Last Day Inter Milan Will Listen To Man United Offers For Andre Onana

Inter don’t want to wait around forever, however.

They are expecting further bids from United, but want them to arrive in a timely manner. As such, Pedulla reports, the Nerazzurri have given United an ultimatum.

The negotiations for Onana can continue for a little more than two weeks.

However, if the Red Devils have not made an offer that Inter deem sufficient to accept by June 20, that will be the end of the matter. Inter will take the player off the market.

From Inter’s perspective, this is important to give them the ability to plan their other business.

Signing a direct replacement is important – Shakhtar Donetsk’s Anatoliy Trubin, Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili, and Atalanta’s Marco Carnesecchi are linked.

Moreover, Inter will have other targets to seize on, such as Romelu Lukaku and Davide Frattesi.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri will have to know whether or not they’re selling Onana for a big fee sooner rather than later. If the right offer doesn’t arrive in time, no sale will take place.
