Man United have made a second, improved offer of €50 million for Andre Onana, whilst Inter Milan continue to hold out for €60 million.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Red Devils have increased their offer to get closer to the Nerazzurri’s valuation for the Cameroonian, though not yet enough to convince them on a deal.

Manchester United aren’t waiting around in negotiations with inter for Onana.

After having a bid worth €45 million including add-ons turned down, the Premier League giants have returned right away with a new offer.

According to the Gazzetta, the total value of United’s new offer is €50 million. This includes all add-ons.

For their part, Inter still don’t consider this high enough.

The Gazzetta report that the Nerazzurri have turned down United’s second bid. They have continued to hold firm on the asking price of €60 million.

Man United Have Second Offer Turned Down For Onana – Could Still Work Out Difference With Inter

Therefore, as things stand, United and Inter are around €10 million apart.

However, the Gazzetta suggests, this is not necessarily too great of a distance for the clubs to make up.

United and Inter would both want the deal to happen soon if it’s going to happen. The same goes for the player, who wants clarity on his future.

United would want to make Onana available to coach Erik ten Hag as soon as possible as they ramp up preseason preparations. The Nerazzurri, on the other hand, won’t want to go into their own preseason with the Cameroonian’s future still in the balance.

Accordingly, the Gazzetta suggests, the two clubs could quickly work to make up the difference.

The Gazzetta report United could raise the fixed part of their offer to €50 million. That, in addition to add-ons, could be a big step. And then the clubs can work on how easily the add-ons would be triggered.
