Inter Milan and Man United want to get a deal for goalkeeper Andre Onana over the line before July 13th.

This according to UK broadcaster Sky Sports, via FCInterNews, who report that United are confident the Nerazzurri will accept a bid of €52.5 million for the 27-year-old, and that all parties would like to finalize a deal before Inter begin their preseason training camp.

Manchester United are preparing a new offer for Onana.

To date, the Red Devils have reportedly not gone higher than €40 million plus add-ons, by all accounts. However, they will soon increase this significantly.

Sky Sports UK reports that United are ready to make an improved €52.5 million offer for Onana.

Moreover, the UK broadcaster reports that United are confident that this will be enough to satisfy Inter’s demands.

The Nerazzurri have been holding out for €60 million, but could start to listen to offers over €50 million.

Inter Milan & Man United Ready To Accelerate Talks For Andre Onana

As such, Sky Sports UK reports, United are not going to stall with offers that they know full well won’t be enough to meet Inter’s demands.

Rather, the broadcaster suggests, the Premier League giants aim to make what they believe to be the decisive offer right away.

United expect that Inter will ultimately be ready to make a deal at €52.5 million. Moreover, Sky reports, the Red Devils believe that Onana himself is keen to make the move.

The Cameroonian is ready to join Erik Ten Hag’s side for next season. Accordingly, the player will hardly hold up the deal and on the contrary will be another factor pushing it forward.

Inter begin their preseason training camp one week from now.

And that, Sky Sports UK, is the point by which all parties want to resolve the Onana situation.

Inter won’t want to head into their preseason preparations with a player who has one foot out the door still in tow. And United, for their part, will want to bring in a player who will be at the centre of their own preseason plans ASAP.

On the other hand, Sky Sports UK report, United also have a few alternatives in mind if talks for Onana fall through.

They are reportedly also tracking Feyenoord’s Justin Bijlow, Porto’s Diogo Costa, and Brentford’s David Raya.
