Inter Milan are in talks to make streaming service Paramount+ their main shirt sponsor for the upcoming season.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are aiming for a three-year deal worth at least €20 million.
Time is starting to run out for Inter to decide on a new main shirt sponsor.
The Nerazzurri are aiming to have the new sponsor in place for the start of their preseason. That is now less than a week away.
Over the last two matches of last season, streaming service Paramount+ had their logo on the Nerazzurri’s shirt. This notably included the Champions League final against Manchester City.
This had seemed to be only a temporary solution, however.
Whilst it has always been confirmed that Paramount+’s logo would remain on Inter’s shirt, it seemed as though it would only be as the back shirt sponsor. As far as the more lucrative main shirt sponsor on the front, the Nerazzurri’s search has been ongoing.
Inter Milan Could Make Paramount+ Main Shirt Sponsor
There has been no shortage of candidates to become Inter’s main shirt sponsor next season.
Korean Air and Wizz Air have been among the names to have emerged recently.
Meanwhile, all of Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, LeoVegas, Binance, and Hisense have been in the frame throughout the process.
While it’s always been clear that Inter would find a new sponsor following the DigitalBits debacle, the precise identity has been a mystery.
According to the Gazzetta, the solution may turn out to be simply continuing the partnership with Paramount+.
The newspaper reports that the talks between Inter and the streaming are ongoing.
Inter have always been targeting a partnership worth €20 million per season. And according to the Gazzetta, that is the basis of the talks.
Inter could sign a three-year deal with Paramount+. And this could come as early as this week before preseason begins, as everyone rushes to wrap the talks up.
