Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku is prepared to lower his wages by £1 million net per season in order to make a move to Inter Milan happen.

This according to UK news outlet The Telegraph, who also report that the Belgian has absolutely zero interest in joining Juventus as he only wants to go back to the Nerazzurri next season.

Inter are increasingly pushing to sign Lukaku back from Chelsea again.

The Blues have firmly rejected any offers of another loan deal, which had been Inter’s strategy. Therefore, the Nerazzurri have changed their approach – they are now ready to offer a cash fee for Lukaku.

Inter are now trying to find the amount on a fee that would be enough for Chelsea. They want the next few days to be decisive in finally securing a deal to make Lukaku an Inter player again.

And, for the player’s part, Lukaku has been abundantly clear.

The Belgian only wants to make a return to Inter. And according to The Telegraph, he would be willing to take a significant pay cut in order to make sure that he gets his wish.

Romelu Lukaku To Accept Pay Cut To Return To Inter Milan

Last season, Lukaku had accepted a wage reduction compared to what he earned a Chelsea to make the move to Inter.

However, the 30-year-old is ready to lower his earnings even more.

The UK outlet puts the figure that Lukaku would be ready to give up at £1 million net per season.

Lukaku Also Has Zero Interest In Joining Juventus

The Telegraph also report that despite recent rumours of Juventus interest in a shock swoop for Lukaku, the player would reject this out of hand.

The Belgian only wants Inter. He will not consider any offers from the Bianconeri.

Nor will Lukaku consider a move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal.
