Inter Milan’s new partnership with kit supplier Nike is an eight-year deal worth around €30 million per season for the Nerazzurri.
This according to Italian football finance news outlet Calcio e Finanza, who reveal the duration and value of the extension of the 25-year-long deal between Inter and Nike, which began in the summer of 1998 and is not set to come to an end any time soon.
It’s official – Inter have extended their contract with Nike.
The Nerazzurri made the announcement of the new deal with the US-based apparel company earlier today.
Inter’s announcement notes that “Nike’s Inter kits and accessories have become cult items for the next generations, representing iconic and unforgettable moments for the club, while looking ahead and anticipating trends.”
“Nike will continue to design match and training kits for the men’s, women’s and youth teams as well as lifestyle collections to connect the Inter brand with a wider and global audience.”
“Inter Kits will feature the latest innovation in materials, engineered for the “body in motion”, prioritizing mobility, breathability and sustainability.”
How Much New Deal With Nike Worth To Inter Milan
The club’s announcement of the new contract does not specify the length of the deal with Nike.
However, according to Calcio e Finanza, it will be an eight-year contract.
The new deal will run until the end of June 2031.
As for the amount that the deal will be worth to Inter, that has gone up significantly.
According to Calcio e Finanza, the deal is worth around €30 million per season.
This comes from a fixed amount of €20 million per season, and then significant potential add-ons.
That represents a big raise from the fixed amount of €12.5 million per season that had been in place in the previous deal.
Meanwhile, it is not yet clear who Inter’s main shirt sponsor will be next season. However, rumours suggest Paramount+ are a strong candidate.
