Inter Milan have officially announced the extension of their partnership with kit supplier Nike.

The club made an official statement on their site, in which they outline the continuation of their now-25-year deal with the outfitter which has designed their kits since the start of the 1998-99 season.

Over more than two decades, Inter have worn matchday kits designed by US-based multinational apparel company Nike.

During this period, the Nerazzurri have stuck with their iconic black and blue vertical stripes. However, at the same time, Nike has also experimented at times with different designs.

Particularly for the Nerazzurri’s away and third kits, there have been some eye-catching deviations from the norm.

Nike have outfitted Inter through several Serie A and Coppa Italia victories, as well as the Champions League win in 2010. Then, there was last season’s Champions League final run, in which Inter played in Nike kits.

The partnership between Inter and Nike has become a highly identifiable one in the public mind.

And it won’t be coming to an end any time soon.
