Italian agent Sabatino Durante believes that the loss of Andre Onana will have a big effect on Inter Milan.

Sopeaking to Italian news outlet News.Supercommese.it, the agent also suggested that whilst Davide Frattesi is a very good player, Nerazzurri fans should prefer that the club had signed Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio instead.

As of now, Onana is still an Inter player.

However, all signs point towards that not being the case for very much longer.

Manchester United are pushing to complete a deal for the Cameroonian’s signature.

If recent reports are correct, the Nerazzurri will lose their keeper in just a few days’ time. Reportedly, the two clubs are working to complete a sale of Onana by some time before this weekend.

If Onana were to be on his way, he would be a tough player for Inter to replace.

The Cameroonian has already become a key cog for the Nerazzurri in possession. Few other goalkeepers have either Onana’s technical ability with the ball at his feet, his passing range, or his calm, proactive approach to linking up with teammates in possession.

And that is before the impressive shot-stopping ability that the former Ajax man has is even taken into consideration.

Durante: Loss Of Andre Onana Reason For Inter Milan To Be Worried

Giving his thoughts on the likely sale of the Cameroonian, reasoned said that “Nowadays you can replace any player, including Lautaro Martinez.”

“But not Onana,” the agent continued. “His skill and bravery with the ball are difficult to replicate.”

Durante also gave his thoughts on the Nerazzurri’s acquisition of Davide Frattesi from Sassuolo.

“It’s true that we made it to the Champions League final,” he said. “But as an Inter fan, and as excellent of a player as Frattesi is, we should have gone for Milinkovic-Savic instead.”
