Germany under-21 will complete medicals on his move to Inter Milan today after the Nerazzurri agree terms with Danish club Aarhus.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 22-year-old’s transfer to Inter is now imminent as he gets ready to get the final formalities out of the way.

It’s now only a matter of time – Inter will complete the signing of Bisseck from Danish club Aarhus.

However, there have still been a few last minute twists before all the final agreements were sealed.

The one holdup has been Inter finding an agreement with Bisseck’s club Aarhus on a fee. The Nerazzurri have aimed to renegotiate terms at the last minute.

Aarhus had initially confirmed that Inter had signalled their intention to pay €7 million in two equal instalments, thus triggering the release clause.

However, the Nerazzurri have instead negotiated a structure that will see them pay that fee in three instalments.

Aarhus will also receive a 5% sell-on fee if Inter sell Bisseck. Moreover, there are €500,000 in potential add-ons in the deal.

Now, the only thing left to come are the final details on the player’s end. With the agreement wrapped up with Aarhus, the German can put pen to paper once he does so.

According to the Gazzetta, today will be the day for Bisseck’s medicals.

Then, it won’t be too long at all – the 22-year-old will become an Inter player officially.

Bisseck will reportedly join as a backup to Alessandro Bastoni. During the season just gone the 24-year-old has had no real deputy in the squad.

Either Francesco Acerbi has shifted to the left or Federico Dimarco has moved into defense when Bastoni has been out.

Now the Nerazzurri will have a true backup for Bastoni. Bisseck is used to playing on the left of a back three despite being right-footed.

Moreover, the versatile Bisseck could also used on the right side of defense.

The departures of Milan Skriniar and Danilo D’Ambrosio have given the Nerazzurri further impetus to go after a new defensive signing.

Bisseck will be the first defensive signing of the summer for Inter. The German is all set to complete his move to the Nerazzurri, who will sign him ahead of Manchester City.
