Inter Milan will hold a meeting with agents of Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata tomorrow.

This according to Spanish news outlet Relevo, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri have not yet made a formal offer to Atletico despite reports, but that they’ll hold talks with the player’s representatives tomorrow as they considering moving forward to try and sign him.

Morata’s experience in Serie A makes the 30-year-old an attractive target for several big clubs in Italy.

Inter are among the teams tracking the Atletico striker.

Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi is reportedly an admirer, and has made the Spaniard the first choice in attack. This comes after Inter abruptly pulled the plug on talks to sign Romelu Lukaku.

The Nerazzurri will not be without competition for the Spaniard’s signature.

Roma are reportedly also considering a move. The Giallorossi would be wary of a high asking price and wages to sign Morata, but their coach Jose Mourinho is very keen on the move.

Despite reports from Italian media that Inter have already put €15 million on the table to Atletico, Relevo denies this.

The Spanish outlet reports that, as of yet, the Colchoneros have not received any formal bids from the Nerazzurri.

However, that hardly means that Inter are not getting started in their attempts to sign the Spaniard.

Relevo report that Morata’s agents have a meeting scheduled with Inter directors tomorrow. The Nerazzurri will make their intentions to sign the Spaniard clear, and also sound out how straightforward a deal would be financially speaking.

There have been some recent reports that Morata’s release clause could drop to €12 million.

However, that may not be the case.

It may take a higher offer to convince Atletico to sell the former Real Madrid, Juventus, and Chelsea striker.
