Inter Milan are aiming to sign Atalanta’s Merih Demiral, Monza’s Carlos Augusto, and Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic to complete their squad.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908, who name the trio as the three players who the Nerazzurri will go after in the remaining weeks of the transfer window.
Inter have already made several signings this summer.
Davide Frattesi, Marcus Thuram, Yann Bisseck, and Raffaele Di Gennaro have all arrived.
Juan Cuadrado looks to be on the way next.
However, the Nerazzurri don’t look to be slowing down.
A move for Yann Sommer looks to be next on the docket now that Andre Onana is on the way out.
And Inter are looking at Alvaro Morata and Folarin Balogun now that their pursuit of Romelu Lukaku has fallen through in spectacular fashion.
But this is not all the business that Inter need to do. The Corriere identify three players who the Nerazzurri will seek to bring in before the window closes.
Inter Milan Aim For Demiral, Augusto & Samardzic To Wrap Up Summer Business
First, there is the question of replacing Milan Skriniar after the Slovakian made the switch to Paris Saint-Germain.
Finding a suitable candidate to fill in Skriniar’s shoes has looked like a priority long before the summer transfer window opened. And yet, none has yet arrived.
The Corriere name Atalanta defender Demiral as the player who Inter will go after in this respect.
Then, there is the question of the left wing.
According to the Corriere, the Nerazzurri will likely go after Carlos Augusto from Monza.
The Brazilian’s arrival would be contingent on Robin Gosens leaving, however.
Lastly, Inter will almost certainly sign one more midfielder before the summer transfer window reaches its conclusion.
And, the Corriere suggests, the Nerazzurri have a clear idea of who they’ll go for – young Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic.
