Inter Milan have reportedly shut the door on all attempts made by Romelu Lukaku for reconciliation.

Following last season’s loan spell from Chelsea, the Belgian was initially looking to secure a permanent stay at Appiano Gentile.

With all parties presumably in favor of the transfer, most fans and observers expected the deal to see the light.

Yet, the Nerazzurri discovered that the striker was simultaneously holding talks with arch-rivals Juventus.

Irritated with the player’s behavior, Inter Milan dropped out of the race. But to Lukaku’s dismay, it appears that he isn’t quite high on Juve’s shortlist.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is the Belgian’s solitary advocate in Turin.

Therefore, Lukaku finds himself in an undesirable situation. The player burned bridges with Inter in the hopes of securing a switch to the Bianconeri. But Juventus may opt against signing him after all.

Inter Milan Have Shut Down The Door On Romelu Lukaku And His Attempts To Mend Relationships

So as the source explains, the 30-year-old has recently attempted to mend his rapport with the Nerazzurri. However, the answer was loud and clear: Inter want nothing to do with Lukaku.

Club president Steven Zhang is the one leading the anti-Lukaku coalition. The patron doesn’t want the striker anywhere near his club.

For their part, Inter player and their manager Simone Inzaghi all agree with the decision. They were all left disappointed by the player’s demeanor.

So with very few options left on the table, Lukaku could finally entertain a proposal from Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal.
