Inter Milan would only be ready to send midfielder Giovanni Fabbian on loan to Udinese as part of a deal for Lazar Samardzic.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri wouldn’t consider letting the Friulani sign Fabbian on a permanent basis.

Midfielder Lazar Samardzic is also on the Nerazzurri’s radar. Inter are almost certain to make at least one more signing before the summer transfer window closes, and the 21-year-old is one of their main targets.

Inter’s priority is to sign a young midfielder with room to grow.

Rather than replacing Roberto Gagliardini with a veteran player, the Nerazzurri are keen on Samardzic.

However, it will not be easy to sign the German-born Serbia international. There is significant competition for his signature.

Napoli are very keen on Samardzic, whilst Juventus are also in the hunt. Moreover, Lazio reportedly want the former RB Leipzig star as their replacement for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Inter Milan Could Offer Fabbian As Part Of Deal For Samardzic But Only On Loan

Part of Inter’s strategy to convince Udinese on a deal for Fabbian could be to make a player-plus-cash offer.

Striker Sebastiano Esposito is one player the Friulani are interested in. Therefore, the Nerazzurri could offer to send the 21-year-old to the Dacia Arena as part of a deal for Samardzic.

Another player who Udinese are admirers of, seemingly along with half of Serie A, is young midfielder Fabbian.

And Inter could try to use this interest to sign Samardzic.

But, Tuttosport reports, the Nerazzurri would not consider losing control of Fabbian on a permanent basis.

They would only offer the 20-year-old to Udinese on a loan deal, with Samardzic coming the other way.

Inter still want to make sure that they have control of Fabbian’s future.
