Juventus striker Arkadiusz Milik downplays the possible arrival of Romelu Lukaku to Turin, preferring to maintain his collaboration with Dusan Vlahovic.
The Polish striker spent the previous campaign on loan at the Allianz Stadium, forming a striking partnership with his younger Serbian teammate.
The Bianconeri have decided to maintain the 29-year-old’s services on a permanent basis, but the future of Vlahovic remains up in the air.
The former Fiorentina man has several suitors on the market. New Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli admitted that almost any member of the squad could leave for the right offer.
So if Vlahovic ends up departing, his replacement at Continassa could well be Romelu Lukaku.
While many were expecting the Belgian to finalize a permanent transfer to Inter Milan following last season’s loan spell, the Nerazzurri decided to cut all ties with the player who was simultaneously negotiating a transfer to Turin.
In a recent interview, Milik was asked about his possible partnership with Lukaku. However, the Pole seemed uninterested, preferring to renew his collaboration with Vlahovic instead
“I don’t like talking about the transfer market. We don’t know what will happen, everything is possible,” said the former Napoli striker in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews.
“I heard Giuntoli’s words, if an indispensable offer arrives, everyone can leave, so let’s see.
“I hope that in the end Dusan can stay, for the rest nothing changes for me. If we want to be competitive, we need more strong players in every position, competition is needed if we aim to win.”

Milik also spoke about what should be an interesting Scudetto race. He believes up to six clubs can compete for the title next season.
“Besides Napoli, of course, I’ll include the two Milanese clubs, together with Roma and Lazio, but also Juve.
“However, it’s difficult to say now who’s the favorite, because anything can happen on the market”.
While a host of Serie A clubs will be gunning for the Scudetto title, you can also aim to win some exciting prizes for a limited budget at deposit 5 pound casinos.
Milik also expressed his happiness about staying at Juventus after spending the previous campaign on loan from Olympique Marseille.
“I had already chosen Juve a summer ago and I found myself at ease. Here you can feel the history, and the tradition, the shirt has a different weight from the others.
“We had a difficult year, but these things happen in football, we just have to think about improving.”
